  • 2 ounces cinnamon whiskey Essential warming ingredient.
  • 8 ounces spiced cider For cozy drinks.
  • 1 slice apple For aesthetics.
  • 1 slice lemon A garnish option.
  • 1 star anise Remove before serving.
  • 1 stick cinnamon For stirring.

Method
 

Make the Spiced Cider
  1. In a large pot, pour in your apple cider, add the cinnamon sticks, and sprinkle in the nutmeg.
  2. Turn on medium heat and gently stir everything together. Allow it to simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Keep stirring occasionally to enjoy the lovely smells wafting up.
For Toffee Apple Hot Toddy
  1. Choose your favorite mugs and add some toffee bits at the bottom.
  2. In a separate shaker or pitcher, combine the butterscotch schnapps and Fireball whiskey. Gently swirl to blend.
  3. Strain your warm spiced cider into the mugs over the toffee bits.
  4. Top each mug with a slice of apple, a piece of star anise, and a wedge of lemon.
