  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with homemade version if preferred.
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables Feel free to use fresh vegetables, pre-cooked.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For the topping
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes Store-bought or homemade can be used.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Spread the beef mixture in a baking dish.
  2. Top with the mashed potatoes, smoothing them out evenly.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until heated through and the top is lightly golden.
  4. Serve warm and enjoy your hearty meal!

Notes
