Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each mozzarella stick in the flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Spray lightly with cooking spray.
Cooking
- Air fry for about 6-8 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Serving
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
- Optionally, add grated Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs on top.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer to regain crispiness. Avoid overcrowding in the air fryer basket for even cooking.
