Ingredients
  

Pickle Coating
  • 1 jar Dill pickles (or any type of pickles) Sliced into chips or spears
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Add more for spicier pickles
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • to taste Cooking spray For air frying

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the pickles into chips or spears.
  2. In one bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, and Cajun seasoning.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, place breadcrumbs.
Coating
  1. Dip each pickle slice first into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the coated pickles in a single layer.
  2. Spray the top of the pickles with more cooking spray.
  3. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Slice the pickles evenly for consistent cooking. For easier cleanup, use parchment paper in the air fryer.
