Ingredients
  

For the garlic spread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened Aids in spreading and flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley Adds color and mild flavor.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to enhance the taste.
For the tortillas
  • 4 pieces flour tortillas Can substitute with corn tortillas if desired.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar or mozzarella works well.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over one side of each tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese on top of the buttered side of each tortilla.
Cooking
  1. Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
  2. Air fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  3. Remove from the air fryer, let cool slightly, cut into wedges, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to enjoy the crispy texture. Use different cheeses or add toppings like jalapeños or cooked bacon for variation. For a healthier version, consider whole wheat tortillas.
