Ingredients

For the potatoes
  • 4 medium-sized Yukon Gold potatoes, washed and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix this seasoning blend thoroughly.
  3. Add the quartered potatoes to the bowl, ensuring they’re evenly coated with the seasoning.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and mix until they are well covered.
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded for optimal crispiness.
  2. Air fry the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even browning. They should be crispy and golden brown when done.
  3. Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
Serving
  1. Optional: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.
  2. Serve immediately as a delicious side dish or a satisfying snack.

Notes

Make sure the potatoes are cut into equal sizes for even cooking. Don’t skip the shaking halfway through cooking; it helps achieve an even golden brown color. Mix and match the seasonings to suit your taste. You can add chili powder for a spicy kick or lemon zest for freshness. If you have leftovers, let the potatoes cool completely, then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
