  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus Look for firm and bright green asparagus.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Consider infusing with herbs for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the tough ends off the asparagus by bending them until they snap.
  3. In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  2. Cook for about 7-10 minutes until tender and lightly charred, shaking the basket midway through.
  3. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and return to the air fryer for an additional minute to melt.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately and enjoy while hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, lay cooked asparagus on a baking sheet to flash freeze, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
