Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the tough ends off the asparagus by bending them until they snap.
- In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
Cooking
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 7-10 minutes until tender and lightly charred, shaking the basket midway through.
- If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and return to the air fryer for an additional minute to melt.
Serving
- Serve immediately and enjoy while hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, lay cooked asparagus on a baking sheet to flash freeze, then transfer to a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
