Preparation
  1. Wash the asparagus thoroughly and break or chop off the tough ends.
  2. Transfer the asparagus spears into a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat.
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, sea salt, ground pepper, and grated parmesan cheese, tossing again for even distribution.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if required according to your model's specifications.
  2. Arrange the asparagus spears in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for 7-8 minutes, checking for doneness as cooking time may vary based on spear thickness.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh lemon juice, additional parmesan cheese, and crushed red pepper if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a single layer until solid and transfer to a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
