- Start by heating a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough.
- Place one slice, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the first slice with bacon, caramelized onions, figs, and cheddar cheese.

- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip and cook until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Serve warm on a plate.
