Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, hot sauce, and cracked black pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
- Add the hummus to the chicken mixture and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into an 8x8 baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top the mixture with shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
Serving
- Once done, take it out of the oven and top with scallions, diced tomato, and avocado slices. Serve warm with cucumber slices, carrot spears, and various chips.
Notes
For extra spice, use a hotter variety of hot sauce. You can mix in ranch seasoning for additional flavor or make a vegetarian version by substituting chicken with roasted veggies. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
